The City of Falls City has been awarded grant monies to rehabilitate the burdened sewer system by means of a Small City Allotment Grant and a Community Development Block Grant. The project begins with the installation of a lagoon as outlined in the City's adopted 2013 Wastewater Facilities Master Plan. The plan my be viewed by clicking the link below.
Currently the drain field lies beneath the High School's football field which can sometimes seep to the surface during the rainy period.
